About

From My Lens to Yours

With nearly 25 years in television, film, and digital media, my career began as a talent agent and grew into casting and production roles both on set and in the office. Those experiences provided a broad view of the industry and built a lasting appreciation for authentic storytelling.

My work includes photography, video storytelling, and media projects designed to highlight destinations in a way that feels real and connected. By focusing on the people and culture behind each place, I aim to create content that resonates with both travelers and communities.

As a Travel Advisor with Fora, the goal is to help people create trips they will never forget. Thoughtful travel with a story behind it matters most — meaningful moments, the people you meet, and the experiences that stay with you.

I am also the host of Voices of Inspiration, a travel podcast that shares real stories from the road. Through conversations with people around the world, the show highlights culture, perspective, and the ways travel connects us.

Scheduled for release by Reedy Press in 2026, my first book 100 Things to Do in South Carolina Before You Die highlights outdoor adventures, historic sites, local restaurants, and traditions that shape the state.

How I did it

my JOURNEY

2016

The year I did this

It all began in 2016 when I joined my first press trip. That experience showed me how much I loved combining travel with storytelling. I found a way to connect my curiosity about places with my passion for sharing meaningful stories.

Since then, I’ve traveled to destinations including Greece, Zambia, Paris, England, France, China, the Caribbean, and more. Along the way, my interest in philanthropy has deepened, and I’ve focused on learning from locals and finding ways to positively impact the communities I visit.

These experiences continue to shape my work as a media producer. I aim to capture genuine moments and stories while building lasting connections with the people I meet.

2018

The year I did this

I spent 18 months fundraising and trekking to Mt. Everest Base Camp, raising over $25,000 for Cancer for College. The campaign—featured on Forbes.com—was driven by storytelling and social media, helping bring more visibility to the cause.

That experience opened the door to a partnership with Salesforce.org, where I served as a Changemaker Correspondent. In collaboration with Georgetown University, I created content highlighting how colleges are evolving to meet student needs and inspire the next generation of changemakers. My work, which included blogs, articles, and social media features, was shared across multiple platforms.

The project ultimately led to an invitation to speak at Dreamforce, where I shared insights on how storytelling can be used as a tool for social impact.

2024-2025

The year I did this

I released the third season of my travel podcast Voices of Inspiration in 2024, where I share meaningful stories from people around the world. Each episode focuses on personal journeys, culture, and connection—offering an authentic look at the people and places that shape how we see the world.

I paused the podcast in 2025 to focus on writing 100 Things to Do in South Carolina Before You Die, which will be released in 2026. The book reflects my love for the state and my passion for sharing the stories, history, and experiences that make it special.

During that time, I also became a travel advisor with FORA, blending my storytelling background with a desire to help others plan trips that feel personal and purposeful. After taking time to create space for these new projects, I’m excited to return to Voices of Inspiration with a new season coming soon.
