About Me

Amelia Old has over 20 years of experience in the television and film industry. Her diverse background includes credits in casting, production, and talent management. She is the producer and host of the Voices of Inspiration Podcast and the founder of the travel site, Passports from the Heart. Amelia is currently working on obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Digital Journalism & Media at Penn State.

Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board and Scholarship Committee for Cancer for College. In 2018, she completed the trek to Mt Everest Base Camp with her husband, while raising over $20,000 for Cancer for College. Her work combining travel while giving back was highlighted on Forbes.com

In 2019, Amelia partnered with Salesforce.org as a Changemaker Correspondent. In partnership with Georgetown University, a Salesforce.org client, Amelia looked at how colleges are adapting to evolving student needs while preparing them to become changemakers dedicated to solving the world’s greatest problems. Through this campaign, she created content (blogs, articles, and social media posts) which was seen on her own social channels as well as the channels for Salesforce.org and Georgetown University. In addition, Amelia wrote an article for the New York Times highlighting her experience.
